French History & Civilization

French History and Civilization: Papers from the George Rudé Seminar, a new journal in French history.

French History and Civilization is a new peer-reviewed journal published biennially following each meeting of the George Rudé Seminar, the chief scholarly conference for French culture and history in Australia and New Zealand. This inaugural issue is the result of a particularly stimulating conference hosted by Melbourne and Monash Universities in 2004. Its editors, Ian Coller, Helen Davies and Julie Kalman, are scholars in the History Department at the University of Melbourne. For more information, see: http://www.hss.adelaide.edu.au/historypolitics/conferences/rude/journal.html
